In the first quarter of 2021, France's dining scene saw significant activity within mobile applications. Sensor Tower's data offers a glimpse into how the top five dining and restaurant apps fared in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

McDo France started the quarter with downloads at 67K and saw a peak of 88K in mid-February before settling at 44K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users showed a similar trend, starting at 699K and reaching a high of 981K in the same period, then closing the quarter with 632K active users.

BURGER KING France experienced a steady start with 27K downloads at the end of December, dipping to around 16K by late March. The active user base mirrored this pattern, beginning with 313K users and ending the quarter with around 296K.

Domino’s Pizza France saw initial downloads at 5K and a high of 11K in early February, with a slight decrease to 7.8K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users started at approximately 50K, peaked at 58K, and slightly declined to 54K.

KFC France downloads began at 11K, experienced a mid-quarter increase to 9.5K, and dipped to 7.1K. The app's weekly active users started at 41K, saw a minimal increase to 38K, and ended at 34K in the last week of March.

Lastly, Sushi Shop, meal delivery downloads opened the quarter at 4.1K, dropping to 2.8K by the end of March. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 5.1K and ending at 4.8K.
